Questions about American Dog
Denver, Colorado · Made in the USA
Shipping
American Dog ships free on orders of $250 or more in the contiguous US. Below that, shipping is shown at checkout.
Alaska and Hawaii cost more to reach, so free shipping doesn't cover them. After you order, we'll email you the extra shipping. Pay it, or cancel for a full refund.
American Dog makes and ships each order from Denver within 5 business days. Smaller orders go by USPS, and larger ones by UPS Ground or FedEx. Most arrive 2 to 4 days after they ship, depending on where they're going. We email your tracking link as soon as it ships.
Beds and pads ship compressed and vacuum-sealed, in the smallest box they fit. Once a bed is out of its seal, give it time to expand before the first nap. When more than one thing fits in a box, they ship together.
American Dog orders ship to all 50 states and Washington, D.C. There's no express shipping on American Dog orders.
Returns
American Dog wants every customer to love what they get, and if you need to return an order, it's happy to help: get in touch and it takes you through the process.
For an order from us, contact us with your order number and we'll take you through it with American Dog. Please don't send anything back before you hear from us.
Care
Machine wash in cold water on the gentle cycle, then let it air dry.
Warranty
No dog toy is indestructible, and American Dog doesn't claim otherwise. If your dog destroys one of its toys in the first 10 days, American Dog replaces it free, once.
Contact us with your order number and a photo, and we'll take it up with American Dog. You don't need to send the toy back.
Military discount
American Dog gives current and former U.S. military, military spouses and dependents, first responders, government employees and teachers up to 20% off on its own website.
Verify with GOVX ID on American Dog's military discount page and you get a single-use code for its checkout, one code a day. The code doesn't work at our checkout, so if you qualify, order from American Dog.
Are the toys chew-proof?
No toy is. American Dog makes its toys for fetch, tug and play with you, not for chewing. Play together, and put the toy away when playtime's over, so it isn't left with a dog who likes to take things apart.
Which toys squeak, and which float?
The 1000D nylon toys squeak and float: Diggity Dog, Tommy Turtle, Flyin’ Fish, Pickle Ball and Da Bone. The 1680D ballistic nylon toys crunch instead, with no squeaker: Bad To Da Bone, Bungee Bone and the Apple Tug.
Who makes the toys?
American Dog, in Denver, Colorado. Every toy is sewn in the USA.
When will my order ship?
American Dog makes and ships each order within 5 business days, by USPS, UPS Ground or FedEx. We email your tracking link as soon as it ships, and you can check anytime on Track Order.
