Accessibility
This statement applies to snoringbeagle.com, including the shop, Track Order and checkout.
Our commitment
Snoring Beagle wants everyone to be able to shop for their dog. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What you can do on the site
- Use every menu, the bed finder, the size and color pickers, the bed tabs and your Doggie Bag with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are. Press Escape to close your Doggie Bag or the phone menu.
- Use a screen reader: form fields, buttons and icons have names, photos have descriptions, the Doggie Bag button says how many items it holds, and messages like a Track Order problem are announced.
- Turn on “reduce motion” in your device settings: the floating Z’s stop, and Back to top jumps instead of scrolling.
- Zoom in or use a small screen: the layout reflows to fit.
Conformance status
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: most of the site meets the standard, and we know of a few places that don’t yet. We test as we build, with keyboard-only use, screen reader labels and reduced motion, on desktop and phone. We haven’t had an outside audit.
Known limitations
- Product photos come from the brands we sell. Their descriptions name the product, the color and what the photo shows, but they’re shorter than we’d like.
- Checkout happens on Stripe’s secure page, which Stripe designs and maintains.
We’re working through these as part of an ongoing plan to improve accessibility.
Feedback
If anything on the site gets in your way, or you need information in another format, email info@snoringbeagle.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we’ll reply within 1–2 business days and help you place your order another way if you need to.
