A round, fluffy nest of soft faux fur round a high-loft core of recycled fiber, for dogs who like to sink in. Donuts curl into its deep, soft middle, and cuddlers get a plump edge to lean on.
The core sits in a zipped capsule, so you can move the filling around to shape the nest, and the faux fur cover comes off for the wash.

Weights are a starting point. Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while they sleep, and pick a bed at least that long. If they’re between sizes, or sprawl, size up.

Shipping
Modern Beast ships free on orders of $59 or more in the contiguous US, so every POD ships free.
Alaska and Hawaii cost more to reach, so free shipping doesn't cover them. After you order, we'll email you the extra shipping. Pay it, or cancel for a full refund.
Modern Beast ships each order within 1 to 2 business days, often the same day, by USPS or UPS. Most arrive 2 to 5 days after they ship. We email your tracking link as soon as it ships.
The POD ships compressed, in a plain box. Give it a few hours out of the box to fluff up.
Modern Beast orders ship to all 50 states and Washington, D.C. There's no express shipping on Modern Beast orders.
Returns
Modern Beast doesn’t refund dog beds for a change of mind, so neither can we on the POD. Before you order, check the size: the 24-inch is for dogs up to about 30 lb, and the 30-inch for dogs up to about 50 lb.
If it arrives damaged or defective, or isn’t what you ordered, Modern Beast puts it right and pays the return shipping. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos, and we’ll take it up with Modern Beast.
Want a different size or color? Contact us within 30 days of delivery, before it’s used or washed and with its tags on, and we’ll ask Modern Beast about an exchange. Exchanges are up to Modern Beast, and the return shipping is yours to pay. Please don’t send anything back before you hear from us.
Care
Take the outer cover off and machine wash it cold, on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry it low, or lay it flat to dry.
Fur from the cover can catch in the hook-and-loop closure in the wash: brush it out with a toothbrush and it holds like new.
Warranty
Modern Beast doesn’t publish a warranty. It puts right a POD that arrives damaged or defective, or the wrong one sent, when it hears within 7 days of delivery.
If something’s wrong with yours, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos, and we’ll take it up with Modern Beast.
Who makes the POD?
Modern Beast, a pet brand from Los Angeles that gives 100% of its profits, after the costs of doing business, to 501(c)(3) animal charities. Each POD has its woven label and hang tag.
What’s inside?
A core of high-loft fiber, 100% recycled (Modern Beast says each pound of it keeps 7 plastic bottles out of landfill), in a zipped inner capsule, under a removable cover of 100% polyester faux fur.
It arrived flat. Is that right?
Yes: the POD ships compressed. Give it a few hours to fluff up. The inner capsule has a zipper, so you can open it and move the filling around to make the nest just right.
Which size?
The 24-inch POD is for dogs up to about 30 lb, and the 30-inch for dogs up to about 50 lb (Modern Beast’s own guide).
