Bowsers ships free on orders of $350 or more in the contiguous US. Below that, shipping is shown at checkout.

Bowsers makes every bed, mat and cover to order, in the fabric you pick, so allow 2 to 3 weeks from your order for it to be made and delivered. The Moderno & Fresco Crate Mat is the exception: it ships within 1 to 2 business days.

Bowsers sends US orders by UPS Ground from Buffalo, New York, with no duties or tariffs to pay. Most arrive 1 to 5 days after they ship. We email your tracking link as soon as it’s on its way, and tracking can take a day or two to show.

Everything arrives fully made up, never vacuum-packed (only the Yugen Pet Lounger needs putting together), so beds come in big boxes, and an order of more than one thing may come in separate boxes.

Bowsers ships to the contiguous US only, not to Alaska or Hawaii. If a Bowsers order comes in for either, we’ll cancel it and refund you in full. There’s no express shipping on Bowsers orders.

Bowsers makes its beds to order and doesn’t take returns for a change of mind, so neither can we on Bowsers products. Before you order, check the size guide: its measurements and dog weights are Bowsers’ own.

If something arrives with a manufacturing defect, or isn’t what you ordered, Bowsers puts it right. Contact us within 30 days with your order number and photos, and we’ll take it up with Bowsers.

Please don’t refuse a Bowsers delivery. If something’s wrong with it, accept it and contact us, and we’ll sort it out with Bowsers.

Every cover zips off: machine wash it, then put it in the dryer. Most mats and cushions go in the washer whole, as their tufting or channel stitching keeps the fill in place.

Foam inserts and bolsters don’t go in the washer: hand wash them only.

Bowsers inspects everything before it ships. Its warranty covers manufacturing defects and the wrong thing sent. It doesn’t cover chewing, wear and tear or misuse: its fabrics are tough, but no fabric is chew-proof.

If something’s wrong with yours, contact us within 30 days of your order with your order number, a few words on what’s wrong and clear photos, and we’ll take it up with Bowsers. When it finds a defect, Bowsers refunds or replaces it, or offers something to suit instead.

Bowsers, which has made dog beds since 1997, when its founders came up with the Donut Bed. Its beds, mats and covers are made to order in its own workshop in Mississauga, Ontario, near Toronto.

Bowsers’ fabrics come from Oeko-Tex certified mills in the United States, which means they’re free of VOCs, formaldehyde, phthalates and flame retardants. They’re upholstery-grade, the same kind used on good furniture.

Bolsters and pillows are filled with high-memory polyester fiber that keeps its loft. The Donut Bed’s cushion is dense, tufted fiber. Structured beds like the Urban Lounger have furniture-grade foam topped with fiber, and the orthopedic beds and mats, like the Oslo Ortho, have cool gel memory foam. Bowsers never uses foam chips, batting or cedar.

No, and Bowsers doesn’t claim they are: no fabric stands up to sharp puppy teeth. For a puppy or a chewer, Bowsers suggests a low mat or crate bed until they’re past it.

Bowsers suggests the Oslo Ortho, the Isotonic Memory Foam Mattress, the Cool Gel Memory Foam Mattress and the Divine Futon for support, and the Scoop and Crescent beds for their low fronts, which are easy to step into.
