Meet the maker
Cycle Dog started in Portland, Oregon in 2009 with one idea: turning bicycle inner tubes, which can’t be recycled any other way, into tough dog collars. It still makes everything it sews in its own Portland factory, with recycled materials wherever it can, and hires veterans and people with disabilities.
Its Barrier beds are waterproof all the way through: a soft sleeping surface over a 3-layer waterproof shell, hand stuffed with EcoFill®, recycled polyester made from plastic bottles. They wipe clean, hose off outside and go in the washer.
